Know the deal

“Sponsored” can mean very different things. Ask for the terms in writing before ordering gear or posting.

Preferred pricing: You buy a package at a reduced price. This is common and still valuable, but it is not the same as free gear.
Product support: The brand provides some equipment free or at deeper discount in exchange for exclusivity and visible logos.
Full endorsement: Free gear plus possible payments is rare for juniors and usually follows exceptional national or international results.

A smart 30-day push

Choose two — Apply only to brands the player genuinely wants to use. Test racquets and strings first.
Package proof — Create one linked résumé, clean match clips and a coach reference that can be verified quickly.
Apply correctly — Follow each brand’s route and criteria exactly. A parent should submit for a minor.
Follow up once — After a reasonable wait, send one brief update with a new result. Then improve the record and reapply.
